Bitcoin's powerful surge from the $63,959 support region to highs above $87,000 may have cooled, but the broader trend remains firmly bullish. Rather than signaling a reversal, the latest price action appears to be developing into a classic bull flag, a continuation pattern that often precedes the next leg higher.

With Bitcoin currently trading around $81,398, traders are watching closely as the market approaches a potential breakout point.

Bull Flag Structure Remains Intact

The chart shows a strong impulsive rally that forms the flagpole, followed by a controlled pullback within a downward-sloping channel.

Importantly, the correction has remained orderly. Selling pressure has not accelerated, and price continues to respect the boundaries of the flag structure. This type of consolidation typically reflects profit-taking and market digestion rather than aggressive distribution.

As long as Bitcoin remains within or above this channel, the bullish continuation case remains valid.

$83,700 Is the Level Bulls Need to Reclaim

The most important level on the chart sits near $83,707.

This area aligns closely with a significant volume node on the volume profile and represents a critical zone where buyers and sellers have repeatedly battled for control. A decisive break above this level would signal renewed bullish momentum and increase the probability of a move back toward the recent highs.

A breakout from the flag combined with a move through resistance could trigger a fresh wave of buying interest.

Volume Profile Reveals Strong Market Support

The volume profile highlights substantial trading activity between $80,000 and $84,000, suggesting strong market acceptance in this area.

When markets spend extended periods trading within high-volume regions, they often build a foundation for the next directional move. The fact that Bitcoin continues to hold within this value area supports the view that the current decline is a consolidation phase rather than the start of a major downtrend.

Below current prices, another significant high-volume support area can be seen around $63,959, which served as a major accumulation zone before the latest rally emerged.

RSI Shows Momentum Stabilising

The Relative Strength Index is currently near 48.5, recovering from recent lows and climbing back toward the neutral 50 level.

This suggests bearish momentum is losing strength while buyers gradually return to the market. Importantly, RSI remains far from overbought territory, giving Bitcoin room to move higher should a breakout occur.

The indicator currently reflects consolidation rather than trend deterioration.
