Introduction to the course

In this course, you will learn how momentum drives price movements in the financial markets and how traders use momentum to identify strong trading opportunities. The course will show you how to recognize early signs of momentum, use indicators like MACD and RSI, understand the role of volume, and most importantly, how to time your entries and manage risk when trading momentum.

Module 1: What is market momentum?

This module explains what market momentum is, why it matters, and how it differs from a trend. You will also learn the difference between a trend with weak momentum and a strong momentum move, helping you better understand the strength behind price movements.

Module 2: Early momentum signals

This module focuses on identifying momentum before major market moves happen. You will learn how to recognize early indicators of momentum, understand accumulation phases, and spot when momentum is building before breakouts. The goal is to help you prepare for trades before the big move starts, not after it already happened.

Module 3: MACD momentum

This module explains how to use the MACD indicator to measure momentum and understand when momentum is increasing or weakening. You will learn how to read MACD acceleration, histogram expansion and contraction, and zero-line signals, with practical chart examples to help you apply the indicator in real market conditions

Module 4: RSI momentum

This module explains how to use the RSI indicator to measure momentum strength and identify potential reversals or trend continuation. You will learn how to use the 50 level, how RSI behaves in strong trends, how to spot divergence, and how to understand overbought and oversold conditions in the right way.

Module 5: Volume & momentum

This module explains the relationship between volume and momentum and how volume confirms the strength behind price movements. You will learn why volume is important, how rising volume supports trends, how volume behaves during breakouts, and what it means when volume starts to decline.

Module 6: Entry timing & risk

This module focuses on how to time your entries correctly when momentum appears and how to manage risk properly. You will learn when to enter momentum trades, where to place your stop-loss, and how to manage your risk to protect your trading account while taking advantage of strong market moves.

Module 7: Checklist & live examples

This module focuses on helping traders build a simple trading checklist before entering any trade. The goal is to make sure that trend, momentum, and breakout conditions are aligned before making a decision. During the live session, we will apply this checklist on real charts and go through examples together to see how traders use this process in real market conditions.
