Course Overview

The course aims to explain one of the most important technical analysis tools, "trend lines," considering that determining the trend, whether upward, downward, or horizontal, is the first step in making an investment decision. We will also discuss in detail identifying the main support and resistance levels and their impact on price movement and thus making an investment decision. In this course, we will also learn how to deal with false breakouts or breaches, as they are very important in building expectations. Finally, price gaps, their types, and their uses will be explained, and at the end, there will be a practical application for all of this.

Introduction to the Course

In this course, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how price action works and how to read the market without relying on traditional indicators. You’ll start with the basics of price movement and supply and demand, then build a strong foundation by mastering support and resistance, trendlines, and channels. You’ll also learn to identify breakouts, fakeouts, and price gaps, and understand their meaning within real market conditions. The course concludes with a practical session where you’ll apply all concepts to real trading scenarios using pure price action.

Module 1: The Core of Price Action

In this module, we will learn how to draw trendlines and identify the overall direction of the trend on the chart. We’ll determine whether the market is in a clear trend or moving sideways. Additionally, we’ll assess which phase of the trend we are in and whether the price action reflects a trending move or a corrective one.

Module 2: Understanding Support and Resistance

In this module, we will practice identifying support and resistance levels on the chart and learn the key criteria for recognizing the most significant ones. We will also explore the concept of role reversal between support and resistance, as it plays a crucial role in determining ideal buying or selling zones.

Module 3: Trendlines and Channels

This is one of the most enjoyable chapters, where we will learn and practice how to draw trendlines. We’ll explore the difference between a trend and a correction wave, and use this knowledge to identify price channels and understand how to trade within them. Finally, we’ll cover the key tools used to spot the end of a current price trend

Module 4: Breakout, Fakeout and Traps

In this module, we will learn how to assess whether a breakout or retracement is valid and how to prepare for sudden market movements. We will also explore how to take advantage of breakouts and false breaks, and how to use them as one of the most effective trading strategies.

Module 5: Gaps

A gap occurs when there is a sudden price jump between two trading periods with no activity in between. Gaps reflect strong buying or selling pressure and often appear after major events such as news releases, earnings reports, or significant market developments.
